Rock’n’Roll afternoon with Mike Warwick

A great crowd of visitors were entertained in the Cottage Museum garden on the last Sunday of July by the experienced Rock’n’Roll singer Mike Warwick. Thank you Mike.

The weather was good for the afternoon and all enjoyed reminiscing and singing along to the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s hits with Mike.  The Cafe was open and did a brisk trade of teas/coffees and cakes; one of the volunteers even provided waitress service into the front garden.

Look out for more posts of forthcoming events. Why not come along to the Jazz afternoon on the 7th of August with Colin and Gerry when the cafe will be open once again and the entertainment free.

Any donations to the Cottage Museum are most welcome. Take the opportunity to visit the museum and experience what life was like at the turn of the 20th century.
