Penguin cake raffle winner

Our raffle for the impressive tiered penguin cake was drawn on Saturday morning at the Methodist Church hall coffee morning. The lucky winner was Lee Cook a LIVES volunteer from Spilsby. He was really chuffed to find out his luck as he only bought his ticket at the Woodhall Spa Christmas shopping event the previous evening whilst visiting the craft stalls with his partner, also a LIVES volunteer. He has a large family and is thrilled to win it as he ‘never wins anything’!  The cake has already been handed over to Lee.  A superb £112 was raised by the Friends of the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum and a special thanks go to the Friends chairman, Trish Lowis-Smith, not only for selling so many tickets but for baking and decorating such a magnificent cake.
