A special event was held at the Petwood Hotel on the afternoon of Monday 4th September for a number of invited guests to the signing and launch of the new book by Nicholas M Duke-Cox titled The Gardens of Petwood.

Introduced to the gathered audience by his supportive wife Patricia, the current chairman of the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum, guests were welcomed to the book signing and also invited to help themselves to tea and coffee and to view the video display put together by the author showing the timeline of the recent restoration work carried out on the gardens.

Much of the information used by the author was as a result of searches of Woohall Spa Cottage Museum archives and many original photographs from the museum database have been used.

Photographs of this event were taken and provided by Phil Groves.
