Alan Taylor entertains the visitors

Thank heavens for the new pop-up gazebo!

Alan Taylor demonstrating his skill as an organist

A warm welcome was extended to all our visitors to the first music event on the courtyard this year. Alan Taylor played the Roland Atelier organ and the audience were most appreciative and knowledgeable, foot tapping away to memorable tunes. The event was held under the new pop-up gazebo rather than on the front lawn and it proved a wise move as the heavy shower during the intermission would have been a dampener on the event.

The courtyard cafe team of Gladys, Joy, Sally and Trish kept everyone refreshed with tea and cakes; well done team.

The next event is on Saturday 5th with Mike Warwick at 2pm on the front lawn. Every Sunday in August sees a different musical entertainer all provided free for our visitors, Cottage Museum donations gladly received.

The courtyard cafe will be open 12-4 every Sunday for a lovely cup of tea or coffee and delicious homemade cakes so why not pop along, whether it be all afternoon or just a brief visit you will find a warm welcome from our volunteers.
