Between The Lines – Music in the Garden 19 Aug 18

Our third Music In The Garden event of the year was the talented folk/country group “Between The Lines” who played to a capacity audience of up to 50 people. All seats were utilised for the whole two hours and additional passers by loitered at the back and on the path to listen to the haunting music written, played and sung by the group members. Even though there were only four members of the group they had over a dozen instruments between them and they proceeded to play them all at one point or another. Thanks go to Alan Bolt for arranging their attendance.

In the courtyard café were our intrepid three musketeers; Gladys, Trish and Joy ably assisted by Ivan. A brisk trade in delicious cups of tea, coffee and homemade cakes kept our visitors refreshed during the performance. Look out for updates on Facebook and Twitter as our volunteers try to reach all audiences by social media.

Thanks also go to our gazebo and chair moving volunteers and Patricia for eliciting much needed donations from our guests.
