Opening at Easter

The Cottage Museum will be open this year from early April in time for Good Friday. If it’s your first time visiting, the history of the village, the bungalow itself and the wartime years awaits you. If you’ve been before, the displays have been updated, so come and visit again! We will of course have the media centre up and running which allows visitors to watch both archived and modern videos pertaining to Woodhall’s heritage.

We also bring news that the Museum has been awarded a grant of £677,600 from the Heritage Lottery Fund, which will go towards renovating the buildings and funding future heritage activities. This achievement makes the Museum’s prospects in 2012/2013 very exciting, and thanks must go to the development team who put in a staggering amount of work to get us to where we are at the moment.
